Kabini river lodge belongs to Jungle Lodges and Resorts. It is located in Kabini forest, which is the home to the single largest population of asiatic elephant. These elephants congregate during the dry season ( feb- apr) and offer unparalled experience to the enthusiasts. This forest is also abode to over 300 species of birds, herds of gaur, chital, sambar and tiger.

Cuisine @ Kabini River Lodge : They offer mouth watering buffet of both veg. and non. veg delicacies, mostly local in flavour.

Season to Visit Kabini River Lodge : It is best during feb to april, when it is dry, to spot congregation of elephants. During rainy season, june - aug, foliage is lush and dense.

Kabini river lodge is having 30 Accommodations consisting of rooms, cottages and tents. Golghar ( Restaurant), well equipped bar, conference hall for 25 persons, a wide range of wildlife movies for children and families.

How to reach this place

Kabini river lodge is 220 kms from Bangalore, 80 kms from Mysore. You need to take Mysore - H.D. Kote road, reach H.D. Kote hand post and proceed to kabini forest. There are enough signages by Jungle lodges and resorts at crucial points.

Note:

The above tariff is valid from 1st April 2012 to 15th September 2012.

Tariff is per person per night on double sharing basis. Check in 12 noon & check out 11 am.

Cost includes stay, all meals, nature based activities, coracle ride, forest entry fees, camera fees and taxes.

Children below 5 years of age complimentary. Children between 5 to 12 years will be charged at 50% of the tariff.

Children above 12 years considered as an adult.

Single occupancy charges will be separate, if one wants to stay alone.

Cancellation or postponement of booking, subject to hotel rules.

Cancellation rules for all properties of Jungle Lodges and Resorts
1. 10% retention charges of the tariff, if cancellation is done, 2 weeks before check in date.
2. 50% retention charges of the tariff, if cancellation is done, less than 2 weeks before check in date.
3. No refund less than 2 working days before check in date ( not inclusive of the check in date )
