Bhadra wildlife sanctuary boasts of rich avian life with birds like grey junglefouwl, red spurfowl, painted bush quail, emerald dove, black woodpecker etc. Huge marsh crocodiles and monitor lizards are a common sight here. Gaur and leopards are also spotted. This sanctuary is adopted under " Project Tiger". Direction to this resort at Bhadra : Bangalore - Tumkur bye pass to shimoga - Gubbi - Tiptur - Arsikere - kadur - Birur - Tarikere. At Tarikere take left to travel to lakkavalli ( 14 kms).It is 38 kms from Shimoga.

This jungle resort has 10 accommodations consisting of 5 cottages and 5 log huts, each having a veranda overlooking the bhadra reservoir. Golghar is equipped to serve you with both south and north indian delicacies.
The above weekendtariff is valid from 1st September 2019 to 31.8.2020
The above rates are for Indian Nationals and foreigners charged on per person per night on double sharing basis.
Rates are inclusive of Forest Entry Fee, GSt Tax. Cost also includes accommodation, one session of lunch, dinner, breakfast, morning/ evening tea and respective taxes. Cost also includes nature based activities, coracle ride and forest entry fees. Water sports will be at extra cost.
Check in 12 noon & check out 11 am.
Children below 5 years of age complimentary. Children between 5 to 12 years will be charged at 50% of the tariff.
